A Chair from All the Trimmings
Apparently a former celebrity (assistant) hairstylist has decided to enter the materials business by constructing a chair molded from human hair clippings. According to Ronald Thompson, there are more than 10,400 metric tons of hair clippings produced in London and he can turn all of it into a biodegradeable, strong plastic.

彼曰く
「私のことを狂っていると言う人が居ることは知っています。
しかし、私たちはファイバーグラスなどの環境を破壊する製品の代替手段を考える必要があるのです。」
うーん、eco ですか。
しかし、これは…なんか気持ち悪いなぁ。

Take a Seat… on the Toilet Bowl
These public seats are installed outside the toilets in the Fashion Lady underground mall, one of the top shopping attractions in eastern China’s Nanjing city. Although they are meant for those queuing up to answer nature’s call, many shoppers seem too embarrassed to sit on the bowls. One student said that she would not sit there, as it would look too much like the real thing. No mention of whether the toilet bowls were new or recycled ones!
